Each certificate is issued by the laboratory to the party that submitted the sample, so the client and batch named on it are exactly as printed by the lab. If you need the certificate for the lot you received, write to us with your order number.
How to read a certificate.
The reports use a small set of standard measurements. Not every report includes every one; the table above shows what each certificate covers.
Purity (HPLC)
High-performance liquid chromatography separates the sample into its components. Purity is the share of the signal that belongs to the main compound, reported as a percentage.
Identity (LC-MS)
Mass spectrometry measures the mass of the molecule and compares it with the expected mass of the compound named on the label.
Net content
The measured amount of compound in the vial, in milligrams. It can sit slightly above or below the amount on the label.
Endotoxin
A Limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) assay reports bacterial endotoxin, either as pass or fail against the assay sensitivity or as a value per vial.
